Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Wow, there were a lot of entries for the sketch from last week. I am sorry that I've not been by most of your uploads to comment yet. I'm trying to catch up after being at my mom's house for the last four days taking care of my 94 year old grandma. She needs someone with her at all times and my mom and step-dad needed some time away.  I will try to stop by some time this week to comment on all of your beautiful cards. I know I won't be dissapointed with what you all created. :o)

We are back to a more simple layout. You can take this sketch and keep it simple or add tons of layers and bling. It is totally up to you.

Since Gina has been celebrating Christmas in July and I am soooooo ready for winter, I decided to pull out an older winter set for my card. Here is my icy fun snowman card.

I used a Sakura Stardust Pen on the ice around Mr. Snowman and on the presents. It is hard to see the beautiful glimmer in the photo, but it looks "cool" in real life. This could be used for a winter birthday card, or a winter thinking of you card, or a Christimas card. Maybe I need to send it to one of my friends that loves this summer heat. ;o)

I can't wait to see what you make with the sketch. Please don't forget the tag, stvsketchms9, and please stop back and share a link here so we can all stop by and check it out.

And here are the details to enter the challenge for a chance to win free stamps.

Please upload your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag stvsketchms9. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, that your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.

You have until next Monday, August 2nd, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!

In order to be included in the random drawing for a free GKD stamp set, please create a new card (or project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for multiple challenges is not permitted.  Please read the challenge specifications carefully as only those tha...

I love your sketch and your card is so nice and "cool". Here in Southern AZ I can't even imagine what snow is like right now. Maybe you should send the card to someone who needs to cool off a little? Does it come with A/C and a fan? LOL!

You are a sweetie to help your parents and grandmother out that way. I am the caregiver of my daughter who is terminally ill and has been ill her whole life (22yrs) and I know how refreshing a break can be. Good luck to your whole family. :)
This card is so adorable, love your sketch Melissa! The most appreciated gifts cost no more than our time! Your gift was precious!
Thanks ladies. :o)

Nancy, I wish I could send it out with A/C and a fan. I know that would come in handy for many. ;o)
Such an adorable card Melissa! So sweet of you to help out with your grandmother....know it is a blessing to you mom/step-dad and a blessing for you too to spend some time with her. :o)

I "tweaked" the placement of the circle element a little to fit better with my design. Hope that's OK.
This is a great challenge this week, and your card is gorgeous Melissa..HERE is mine.
Sorry, Melissa but we are still hoping for summer here in Alaska! LOL!
