Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!  Gina asked me to Host the STV Sketch Challenge again.  Oh I am SO happy!  I love making sketches.  I changed it up a little this time.  I will be making 2 sketches - 1 is geared to the beginner stamper and/or the CAS  (clean and simple) design, and the 2nd is more complex for the intermediate/advanced stamper, or the beginner who wants to really stretch themselves!  Here are my sketches for week 1:

 CAS Design 1

Intermediate Design 1

Here are my samples:

I used GKD Botanicals on both cards and added Vintage Backgrounds (along with cuttlebug texture - dots) on the intermediate card. I will be doing these comparative cards over the next month.  My goal? To show how your cards can look good no matter what your skill level is, but to challenge you at the same time (if you want).  I am looking forward to your creations!

Please upload your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag stvsketchvd1. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before. You have until next Wednesday at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!

In order to be included in the random drawing for a free GKD stamp set,
please create a new card (or project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for multiple challenges is not permitted.
Please read the challenge specifications carefully as only those that follow the challenge closely will be put into the drawing for the prize.

BTW - Melissa thanks for all your hard, awesome work the past 3 months! It was fun playing with your sketches!!

Eeeks, LOVE this idea Vicki! So cool to include two sketches for different styles (CAS/jazzed up a bit). LOVE it! I plan to make one using both :o) Love your cards, beautiful designs on each. You are off to a rockin' start gf!
OMSH (oh my stinkin heck), this idea is brilliant! I can't wait to play with your sketchs Vicki...........I love the look of CAS, but just can't seem to do it. So I guess, I will be stretching the limits to try the CAS one.
Awesome idea Vicki--thanks so much. I assume we can have a go at both if we feel so inclined?
Thanks Vicki, I will give it a go!! Looking forwards to what you will have for us *smile*

Hi Vicki, It is wonderful to have you back, beautiful cards! Have fun as I know we will!
Wow, Vicki, you are one busy girl. Love seeing you back. That's why I decided to do this challenge because it was yours!!!
Great idea!!!!! Love this!!! I may have to make one of each....just because. I do have a birthday card to make tonight so this sketch will be a great jumping off/starting point for me to use.
Hey Susan, it increases your chances on name being drawn :o) So oh yeah you can do both.
