Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Thank a veteran!

Layton Ogle is my uncle. He served in WWII. Would you please consider sending a letter or card to say thank you to him and/or any of these veterans who served our country? This is a wonderful opportunity to bless these folks.

On October 2 WWII veterans John Thorne, Lester Woods, Walt Huffer, Frank Madonia & Layton Ogle, Korean Veterans Jim Jones, Dr. Gene Amspaugh, Ed Swint, Halden (Keeler) Shelley, Bert Lamberts, Jack McDermitt, Jim Cooper, & Tom Fettig, along with Vietnam veterans Paul Woods, Hollie Triplett, Gene Swint & Ted Bear will be flying to Wash. D.C., with the Flag City Honor Flight, to see the memorials that were built in honor of our veterans for their services to this great country.
Upon their return, they will be treated to a "Welcome Home" celebration which will include a "Mail Call", where all the cards and letters sent to them, thanking them for their sacrifices, will be distributed.
If you would like to thank these veterans with a card or letter, please do so by putting them in a envelope with just their name on it. Then put that envelope into another envelope addressed to: Mike Melvin, 108 Steeple Chase, Lima Ohio 45807.
They will be forever grateful when they receive them upon their return from the flight.

This is wonderful. My Dad and his three brothers were in WWII.  They all came home safely.  I know their names are on the monument and hope to see it someday.  I will work on making some cards for these heroes.

Thanks Nancy!
