Hey StampTV fans! We've got two brand new episodes up on the main page and one of this week's episodes is embossed foil!
So, this week, I challenge you to make a card using embossed foil. You can use any stamps you want but make sure your that there is embossed foil somewhere on the project.
I ask that you make and upload a brand new project for this challenge and if you use Gina K. Designs stamps, you get your name in the pot twice!
Post your projects in the gallery using key/tag word- STVTC13.
You have until next Tuesday night at 8:00 PM to upload your challenge projects. Next Wednesday, I will announce the randomly chosen winner from all who played along and that winner will receive a stamp set of their choice valued at $24.95 or less!
Here is my project for this challenge.
This is a great technique! I have used metal tape from the hardware store (already has the adhesive), apply to your cardstock and then run through the Cuttlebug. I have also used alcohol inks to swirl around on the metal tape. You are limited to the width of the tape using metal tape which I have found only comes in 3" and 4" widths.
Just yesterday I began embossing foil sheets as a background layer for my snowman image and wondered how to best adhere the foil to my card base. Imagine my delight when I saw the 411 in my email about today's video tutorial and challenge. Thanks for the video Gina, and by the way I've been googling over the "wee tees" set since it was released. Kelli
