Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I know there are hundreds of choices out there for tape runners.  I myself have had three different ATG guns and loved them....until they break.  All three of them have broken, so I went back to the smaller hand held tape runners.  I find these very convenient and easy to use, however, it seems like many brands, after a period of time, don't stick anymore.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a better brand I could try?  I also love scor tape, but I'm looking for something I can just run and go on with my project and know that it will stay stuck.  Any thoughts? or recommendations?

I've had the pink ATG for a few years and the only problem I've ever had is that occasionally there is a build up of glue on the side of the roller, which is easy enough to clean up. I just follow the tape guides in it when I load it.

As for the little runners, I don't think I've liked any of the ones I've tried and I've tried a lot.
