Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

It is Mix It Up Monday time!  :)

So lets start this week with our new challenge!

After doing a sketch tutorial in the addicts group to help make it easier to use Patterned Papers, I had a few request to do a sketch for a challenge!

So this week I thought that would be a good idea for this weeks challenge! ;)

Here is the Sketch you will be using!

*For those that aren't familiar with sketches...

You make a card following the sketch I drew up! You have to follow the layout, but you don't have to (lets say - use a flower, it can be something else) ( you don't have to use the twine, it can be ribbon) As long as we can identify the sketch layout!

Here is the Sketch!

Here is my card for the

This will be a good challenge for me as I don't usually work with sketches and am not that good at them either. Thanks Karen.

Beautiful card, Karen. Love the challenge too! I'll just get work out of the way for the day and then I'll be into it :)

Beautiful!  I love this.

STV17MON - GKD: "Sentimental Summer" Stamp kit. I used the bicycle with flower basket and matching die. I stamped the bike on GKD pure luxury card stock from the kit using Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in the bike, flowers & basket with copic markers - N5 neutral gray; 100 black; B02 robin's egg blue; B24 sky; B29 ultramarine; BG72 ice ocean; E33 sand; E37 sepia; G02 spectrum green; G05 emerald green; G07 Nile green; G21 lime green; R22 light prawn; R29 Lipstick Red; YR02 light orange; YR04 chrome orange & Y17 golden yellow. I used water color paper and watercolored with glitter paints and dried it with a Marvy embossing heat tool. I then hand tore the paper edges and used Ad tech Crafter's Tape to adhere it to GKD white layering cardstock and Tuxedo Black card stock. I wrapped celery green ribbon around these layers and then stamped my sentiment using Versa-mark and Martha Stewart black embossing powder. My base is GKD 110 lb card stock, layered with tuxedo black and the black & white fan pattern paper from the Sentimental Summer kit. I used Cuttlebug embossing folder Plum Blossom to emboss the GKD fresh asparagus cardstock. I then used my bike die to cut an image in foam and glued it to my bike for dimension. Using a "Wink of Stella" glitter pen I added this to my flowers and basket. I finished my bike by applying irResistible embellisher to the bikes fenders, frame & handlebars.
