Hey y'all!! Welcome th September's first challenge of the month! And I couldn't wait any longer to start on some Christmas cards so decided I'd help all of you to get a jump start on those holiday cards!
I love Christmas time! I love how most get into a festive mood, and I totally LOVE the cool temperatures! I need to move where we would have snow every year, but here in my neck of the woods we rarely get snow. Soooo, I made my cards with snow! My challenge to you is to make a Christmas card, with snow! You must have something with snow on your card, either a snowflake or a snowman...we have to see snow somewhere on your card!
Here is my card:
For this card, I used the StampTV kit set from a Christmas past release, Merry Little Christmas.
I also used the Foil-Mates Images sheets Holly Jolly Greetings and Large Snowflakes. I sponged on In The Navy ink on the snowflake image sheet before foiling it because I love blue and silver together for Christmas cards. I tried to get a better picture of the shiny goodness:
I have also used the Heat Resist Acetate on my card. The snowman is stamped and heat embossed on that acetate overlay.
Now it's your turn! Can't wait to see what all of you come up with!
All of the small print below!
Be sure and have your creation uploaded no later than Sunday, September 11th. Be sure and add the tag 'STV16MON36' to your creation so we can see it in the gallery with all of the other creations for this challenge and to be included in the drawing for the prize following the rules below!
Love this card and this challenge. I've been working on Christmas cards since July, so I'm sure I can fund one, or make one for this challenge!
So pretty! I love the combination of blue with the silver and white, and the snowman is so cute!
Great challenge Cat. Love the card you have made too.

Thanks Cat! Here is my card: STV16MON36
fun theme, but boy I made a mess of my desk.
A wonderful card and I love the challenge. I am so happy to say I am feeling much better now after my surgery and so glad I could join in on making a card for this challenge. HERE is my card.
Cat, your card is beautiful, it has an antique feel to it -there's probably a better way to say it, LOL! Fun challenge too. Here's my entry.
