Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hello StampTV friends!  Hope you’ve all had a great weekend. How many of you watched Gina’s latest video?  Well, if you haven’t, I suggest you get right to it because this week’s MIUM challenge is all about embossing folders and wax paper, items I’m sure you have on hand.

I had so much fun playing around with this technique, I’m sure you will too.

Thanks for hosting our challenge this week!

The problem I have had with this technique in the past is that the backgrounds are so pretty, you don't ever want to use them on a card! I think the key might be to make a bunch all at one time, like Gina does in the video, and then maybe you won't mind actually using them.

Your cards are so beautiful and I was planning to try this technique after I saw Gina video so this is perfect .Thank you for doing this challenge.

Lovely cards.  I did watch Gina and she made it look so easy.  I must try this today.

Your cards are beautiful, I was actually playing with this technique this weekend, it is so fun.  Thanks for hosting another great challenge!

This is wonderful.  I have seen Gina do this technique before and just have never tried it. Glad she spotlighted it again and also that you chose it for your challenge.  Hope to get time this week to play.  Thanks for hosting!!

Those are gorgeous examples!  I'll have to find some time to watch the video and try it out.  Thanks for the challenge.

I was playing with this technique over the weekend after seeing Gina's video. It a fun technique, and it really changes the look of the embossing folder so that no matter which folder you use it will look beautiful and different as a wax paper emboss resist.

Looking forward to giving this a try, even though I have to drag that iron out!  Great challenge.

Wonderful Challenge Sylvia,  Your cards are very pretty, and thanks so much for hosting this weeks Challenge for us!  :)  <3

I'm am going to break out the iron I bought for crafting and do this technique. Thanks again!  <3  :)

Great challenge, Sylvia! Can't wait to do it!!

Great idea and a technique I've wanted to try for a while. Thanks

Great cards Sylvia.  I look forward to playing :)
