Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good Morning Everybody!  I am honored to be hosting this challenge.  Thanks so much Lori!

Now that cooler weather is making its way in, it's time to find ways to snuggle in and stay warm.  My challenge to you is to make a card that is "Warm & Cozy".  It's completely open to your interpretation.  We just want to get a feeling of being 'warm & cozy' when looking at your card.  Have FUN with it and be creative!

I used the Winter Wonderland and Simple Snowflakes sets for this card.

I used white and red hot card stock, embossing the white layer with snowflakes.  I used the Blizzard and Winter Whimsy patterned papers.  I embossed the mittens with white embossing powder and used classic circles dies to cut out.  I also embossed the greeting at the bottom.  The ribbon is new from Gina K Designs.

I used the Simple Snowflakes and Wishing You Joy stamp sets for this one.

I used white and red hot card stock.  I stamped snowflakes in different reds and pinks as my dp.  I paper pieced the penguin's scarf with Winter Whimsy patterned paper.  The dies are the classic circle and rectangle.  The snowflake die is the Create-A-Flake Three.  All dies from Spellbinders.

You can see all the cards from this challenge here: STV12MON43

Now a little reminder about the rules:

The deadline for this challenge is Sunday, November 4th at 8:00 pm CST.  One week following this challenge one of the Mods will pick a winner and post in the Big News section on Stamp TV.  Good Luck!  Can't wait to see what you create!!

Warm and cozy sounds good.  Pretty cards!

Love your cards and makes me want to snuggle up to a fire and drink hot cocoa. We will see what I can do:)))Congrats on hosting how exciting:)

Hello my dear, and congrats on hosting this week. Your cards are gorgeous, amazing, inspiring and awesome.  Can't wait to pay along.

Awesome creations Regina!  Love that penquin, he is just too cute to me!  :D  Thanks for hosting for us this week!

Awesome challenge and I love your sample cards!   Where do you find your inspiration?  :)

These are beautiful cards, though they make me think more of cold than of being warm.  But, then, I'm from where snow is a rarity and always make me think FREEZING.

LOL!  Golda.....you want to switch places?  They make me want to grab some hot chocolate!  We need some heat so send it up this way!  :)

Oh, this was indeed a challenge for me. I had to get creative to make my card since I was missing lots of the elements that I needed. I hope you think my Warm Cozy Fire will work okay.  And I love both the cards you did...so well designed.

Hi, Regina - Yes there are stinkin ADORABLE cards!! 'Warm' idea for a challenge-- congrats on hosting :)

Hah!  Just mention the word 'snow' and I turn the heater on.  I'm with you Golda!  64 degrees right now , and i'm sh..sh..shivering, LOL!)
