Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi everyone!!  Lynn Brookside is our host for this weeks challenge but she is having computer issues so I am posting for her.  Here is her great challenge for this week:

A glorious Monday to you all! Our sweet Lori was kind enough to invite me to host this week’s Mix It up Monday challenge and I’m so excited. This week, it’s a color challenge. My nephew, Josh, is getting married this month and I’m so happy for him and his dear bride, Sara. Sara’s family spent half of her childhood living in Honduras where she learned to love the bright colors that are generally favored in such a warm and sunny climate. She’s chosen red, orange, lemon yellow and lime green for her wedding colors. I’ve never been so happy that I make my own cards because I’m willing to bet that I wouldn’t have found a commercially made wedding card in those colors. Here is the card I made for Josh and Sara.

I used the basket from Melanie’s Holiday Basket and the sentiment is from Enjoy the Sunshine. The card you create doesn’t have to be a wedding card—any kind of card will do—as long as it includes all of these colors: red, orange, lemon yellow and lime green.

You can see the gallery HERE

Please enter STV12MON24 in the tag line of your entry in order to have your name placed in the drawing to win a grab bag chock full of Gina K. Designs stamps.

Please create and upload a new project for this challenge. You may not link a previous card/project. There is no combining of Stamp TV challenges allowed to be eligible to win a prize. However, you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV. And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice! The deadline for this challenge is Sunday July 8th at 8:00 pm, CT.

Lynn, your basket of flowers is so beautiful!   Red and orange I don't normally use so this will be a challenge for me.

Beautiful card - love all the flowers and the butterfly!

What a pretty card. It just so happens that I too, love those colors. They coordinate so well. It's good to get away from the traditional wedding cards. Looking forward to seeing what I can come up with. Thanks for the challenge and good luck everyone!

That is a fantastic card!  This color combo is going to take some thought.
