Stamp TV - Mix It Up Monday - Texture

Good morning everyone - Vicki here. Have you been having fun with the new Designer Team's challenges?  I know I have been.  This week for Mix It Up Monday is add texture on your card.  Most of us by this point have embossing folders, but if you don't, texture can be anything -- a piece of material even.  Just add some type of texture.  Here is my sample for you.

I used GKD Timeless Textures and Elegant Elements (with my DOTS embossing folder), along with GKD Vogue Vases, illustrated by Theresa Momber.  My sketch is from CPS Sketch (by fellow DT Tami Mayberry)

You have the option of doing this sketch (don't forgot to upload it over at CPS for recognition) - the challenge for Stamp TV MIUM is add texture on your card.  The code for this challenge is STVMONVD1. To see everyone else's texture challenge cards click here.

Remember: Please create and upload a new project for this challenge that can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize, no combining of Stamp TV challenges.  However, you can combine it with challenges outside of StampTV.  And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice!  The random winner gets a stamp set of choice up to $24.95.

I will have to work on this today I guess before the T storms come in as then I shut down the internet. I always enjoy all the challenges as they inspire my muse greatly. And that in itself, is a good thing. LOL And since I have no clue as to what CPS is, I guess I don't have to worry if I don't exactly do the sketch. By the way, I love your card Vicki.

I got mine done and I used a Puff Paint background to get the texture for the card. I also stamped the solid floral image onto black cardstock and then colored it in with Galaxy Markers. I hope you like my textured card.

Beautiful card.  I just don't seem to be able to do elegant very well!  LOL.  Love the challenge though.  Texture sets a card apart as much as the image and the colors.

I put all kinds of different textures on this.  I had planned to use material, too, but it just didn't fit by the time I got there.
