Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good Morning - I am a newbie to stamping and have just purchased a Cutterbug (having a great time) I am getting myself some dies and embossing folders.  Yesterday I received a fancy Butterfly Nestability so away I went but I couldn't get it off the die once it was cut (is tearing), I tried a 160 card stock first then I tried a copy paper with no avail.  Is there away (trick) of removing the cuts from the dies successfully.  I used my A plate, B plate, die face up, card/paper and C plate ran in through back and forwards 3 times to make sure it was cut.

Thank you in anticipation.

The intricate ones are more challenging.  Some people turn the the project around so you are cutting at a different angle, but I have found that adding wax paper between the die and card stock works for me.

Yep, waxed paper works like a charm. Try it!

Thank you so much Judy I will go and get some wax paper

Kind regards

Andrea
