So, who's using the Project Life or Simple Stories System? I just bought some project life supplies through our Amazon store but I am thinking about carrying the Simple Stories system in our regular store. I kind of like the idea that the pages are 8 1/2" X 11" or smaller. Then, I can do individual books for each of my girls based on their activities or major life events. 12" X 12" is great but it's BIG!
Let's talk scrapbooking? What are you guys doing to preserve your memories, (Or what would you like to be doing?)
I used to do a lot of scrapbooking, but little by little all the scrapbooking magazines have gone the way of the dinosaur. I found a site, scrapbook.com, that has a gallery of over a million layouts that people have done. I get some great ideas from this site. They also have a card gallery site. Between it and stamptv, I'm kept busy trying out new ideas. :)
I have the same opinion. I am doing a story of my Mom's life scrapbook X's 3 for each grand daughter. I am using 11"x8.5" page protectors and a higher quality school binder, built like it can with stand time, and lots of moving if my grand daughters will be anything like me. I don't know if I am quite sold on project life little pages. I brought some too. I may add a few to Mom's books, but only because I have a million pictures of her. Also, I brought a Fuse and want to seal some sequins in the pages. I like the decorated embellishes pages. I think I am going to get away from the 12"x12", scrapbooks. Right now, the medium size for the storage is appealing to me the most.
