Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

From Millan.Net From Millan.Net

Today's challenge is to really put your work on display.....Frame It!!! You can use an actual frame like I did....or you can use a frame image/dp/technique in your card somewhere!! It's up to you how creative you can be!!!

I used one of my fave stamp sets ever....from last year...Snow Much Fun!!!  Of course I love any wintery themed stamp set, don't I???!!!  LOL  I masked and stamped a snowy tree background and then glittered the entire panel.  That will always be one of my very favorite techniques!!  Then I colored the little house and put it right where it belongs....snugly in a frosty winter wonderland!!!  Much like my own house...except we're not having the snow we need so far this winter.  So I'll just have to stare at this picture! LOL  Now show me your frames.....whatever type of "frame" your little heart desires!!!!

The gallery for this challenge is here:  STVOLDIES13

The keyword is STVOLDIES13 and the deadline to upload is Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 8 pm Central.

I love looking at snow scenes and your card is snowy goodness! Let's see if I can remember this part: frame. Another great challenge idea, Lee!!!

Do we make our own frame then?

You don't have to Verna, but you can. Up to you according to Lee. Her's is in a 'real' frame.

Very cute Lee! Nice challenge. Have to get to work!

Yep....any kind of frame....you can use an actual frame, or you can "frame" your image using dp or ribbon or a window image or anything like that!

Gorgeousness Lee!  When I see that, I think of you up on the mountain!  :)

Thanks...for the frame information. I don't know if I will find time though. I just realized Christmas is not that far away. And, as slow as I do my cleanup around here I might have to quit crafting for the time being. Still need to bake more too, and pack the goodies into gift boxes. But it sure looks like a fun project! And, I love yours Lee. Magnificient!

Beautiful card Lee!  I love how the house is snuggled in the trees too.

Thanks you all!!!  I can't wait to see your beautiful creations!

Love your framed image Lee. The glitter is beautiful!

Love your framed art, Lee; however I'm so far behind schedule and am still making Christmas cards so I used frames for my card.  The colors are ivory and gold but photo shows more  white and silver of course the flowers are white.  I think I should have tried to ink them to take away the white...maybe I can still do so....thanks for another great challenge.  Here's my frame.

Has this been extended? If so, I have one to add.
