Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday, my bike broke. The fender cracked and because of the way the bike is set up, I had to leave it at the shop. My big plans for a glorious 4th of July all-day bike ride was thwarted. However, something fun came out of it...

I decided to go to work instead. I started cleaning up my office and I decided that it was time for a StampTV Studio overhaul and move! I cleaned up a huge area of my office and tomorrow, I will paint the wall. I ordered all new furniture for the set and I am planning on mixing in more front shot videos using my new set-up. The studio should be ready by the end of July and I can't wait! 

Our current set is in our theater room. We also use that room for classes and the constant breakdown and set up was getting old and very difficult to get lighting right each time we would "re" set up the set. With my new set-up, I can set it once and leave it! That will solve so many issues for me and allow me to do both types of videos whenever I want. :)

I just bought the slim ink pad holder- fits all the Gina K. Designs pads along with VersaMark, Memento, etc... And today I am getting the Petite Ink Pad holder for my new Oxide Ink Pads! They are having a 15% off sale today on all ink pad holders so I couldn't resist. :)

I am looking forward to this studio upgrade! I still have videos coming in the meantime. In fact, I have a watercolor one coming for you this week so stay tuned! 

Well, off to find that perfect Turquoise Sea or Ocean Mist paint color!

Gina,in addition to the "face",you have such a calm and pleasant voice as well. Your ability to explain techniques in such an easy relaxed manner gives us all the confidence that we can do the project as well! Looking forward to the new look.

Well, thank you all so much for the confidence boost! We should be up and running soon! Wall is painted, furniture arrives tomorrow and Tom will begin to build! ;)

I was wondering when we get a real tour or you crafting space?
I vesited Villagr Paper in Glendale last week on my vacation. I purchased a simply summer kit and can't wait to use it when I get home!

My real studio space is the area to the right where you walk in! We have all of those cabinets filled with product and all the machines and everything are right there! However, I may be taking a set of everything down into my new set so I can work from my office. :)

Yes!! That is fantastic news!! Sorry about your bike! But as the saying goes all things happen for a reason. We need you back IN FRONT of the camera!! Your videos were the ones I watched to learn how to stamp!! Matter of fact Made with Love was my very first stamp set!! :) So happy for you too Can't wait to see the new set!!

Ohh, can't WAIT to see your new space, and LOVE that you will be back on the video's now!  May not be trendy, but I sure missed that personal touch seeing your face added to the video's!  :-)))  Besides...I guess I've never been very trendy myself, so don't care what is trendy out there...just know what I like.  So glad you were able to find a way to go back to that style of video again!!  Yippee!!  LOL

I can't wait to see the finished set up! I know you & Tom are working hard to get it set up! Tom is a sweetie, so give him something cool to drink as he will be very thirsty after getting it all done and spending another 6 hours setting up the video and lighting stuff!  Heck... you might need to feed him as well!  ;)   <3. (((Hugs))) to you both!
