I received so many beautiful messages congratulating me on my win, that I thought instead of writing to each person individually I'd give my thanks here. Thank you! Your good wishes for winning the year long challenge and your encouragement throughout the year has made me very happy. Being a member of the StampTV community is truly a wonderful experience. Nothing is ever "in the bag", so to speak, so one is only hopeful to be the random winner of any challenge. Yesterday was my son's wedding and I was so very busy last week that I didn't have a chance to thank everyone until today.
I would love to encourage everyone to "play" along with the challenges. As I stated to someone, I think the key word is to "play"; enjoy the process, don't fret, don't overthink, just have fun and let the creativity flow. When you win you'll be overjoyed and when you don't you'll have the satisfaction of learning something new and know that your growing in your card making skills.
My thanks, hugs and blessings to all. Have a wonderfully creative week.
Well said, Sylvia. I'm so happy for you, and you are so right. It's all about the fun of having a creative outlet and a place to share your creativity. We all learn from each other......and that's a WIN/WIN!!!!!!
Congratulations, once again, Sylvia! It was exciting just to have completed the yearly challenge and each and every week it's exciting to find out who our "winner" of the challenge is. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and enjoy your prize.
I didn't see this post until 5 minutes ago - I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes. Anyway I wanted to say how nicely you added a thank you to everyone and that I whole heartedly agree that playing in the challenges is exactly the right way to approach them. I have learned so much by participating and have met some wonderful people along the way even if the meeting is only a virtual one. My cards have improved immensely because I keep trying and take to heart the comments of everyone here. everyone is kind and supportive with lots of encouragement and to me that is what it is really all about.
Congratulations on your win!
