Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hello everyone!!! It's Monday... all over again!!  And that means it's time for a new Color Challenge!!

I am so thrilled so many of you are joining in on the challenges and though I am the one
picking the colors, trust me... it's NOT as easy as you think.  Sometimes I get stuck in a rut and have to come up with something that I haven't done before as well.  So.... this week, I am giving you a bit of "play" with your colors.

This week... YOU can choose your colors!!! BUT!!!!!!  The colors must be from the DP in my card below.  That's right... you choose colors that coordinate with the DP on my card!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this measuring tape DP and I chose to pull the yellows and greenish/blues for my main image out of the DP.  Whether you have this particular DP from Cosmo's, "Material Girl" or not, your card must coordinate with it as if you DID have it.  Make sense?

For my card I used Asela's newest set, "Sew Pretty".  I paper pieced the dress and colored the rest with my Copic markers.  My Nestabilities label and flowers were aged a bit by using Tim Holtz' Distress Ink, "Antique Linen" which I hear Gina K will be carrying soon *wink*.

Good luck, have fun and remember.... your card must coordinate with the DP here.  *smile*

Here's my sample.

Please upload your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag STVCCTG9. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, that your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.

You have until next Sunday, May 2nd, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!

I hope you play AND have fun!!!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

You can find the link to the gallery here...STVCCTG9
