Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hey Y'all!!  Its JULY already! (wait...wha..???)  And I'm your host for this month!  Can you guess what the challenge is by the title, haha!  Yep, you are to use acetate on your project!  And suggestions for those that might not have any acetate that specifically for cardmaking and such, you can also use a piece of clear packaging!  I actually made this card using that because I wanted the sturdiness of the packaging.  Here it is using the stamp set Fine Feathers by Claire:

(please ignore the two stray cat hairs on this, just now seeing!  LOL)  I made the card front by stamping on the acetate packaging with Stayz On ink.  (stamp carefully on acetate or it will slip and it needs to be an archival ink, permanent ink).  I think attached it at the top.  Here is a picture of the inside,

The scallop hides the taping of the acetate so the inside will look good too!

Gina K. Designs products used:

Tranquil Teal cardstock

Tranquil Teal ink

Single and Double Stitched Oval dies

Embossing Powders Detail White

Fancy Ribbon Black/Gold

Now for the small print!

This challenge runs all month long.  Be sure to upload your entry to the gallery, using the tag MMC72018 by the deadline.  The deadline will be July 31, 10PM CST.  We will draw one winner from all eligible entries to win a $75 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs.

You may use other company's products but to be eligible for the prize you must use Gina K. Designs stamps.  If you share your card in our Gina K. Designs Friends Facebook group, be sure to use Gina K. Designs stamps on your project.

Sounds fun, Cat!  I know I have some in my stash...can’t wait to play along!

Been thinking about trying some alcohol inks on acetate. Might be the time to try it! Great challenge!!!

Fab card and a good challenge. Thanks Cat.

What a gorgeous card. And I love the colors used for it. I shall have to think a bit about what to do for the challenge now. I have a few ideas but not sure what it will end up being.

Love your card, Cat!! Can't wait to play along. Just have to get this week of work out of the way and I can play along to my heart's content cos I'll be on holidays!!! Yay!!

Thanks for hosting the July Challenge, Cat.  Awesome card and colors.  Acetate it is!

Cat, thank you for being our host this month. I love your card! I have some acetate and a couple of ideas. Can't wait to play!!

Love this card, Cat!  I have not used acetate yet, but recently purchased some and look forward to giving it a try.  Thanks for the challenge!

What a beautiful card Cat! Thanks for hosting this months Challenge! I can't wait to get my crafty room set up so I can join in the fun! <3

Well, I had a dickens of a time trying to get my photo of the card I made uploaded. I tried three times and finally I got it to work. But when I got to the gallery it showed up three times. So I ended up deleting two of them. Go figure...I think this was not my day as it seems lots went wrong for me today. I think I should go take a nap. Maybe that will help. LOL

Verna,  I've been experiencing long processing delays, too.  I hit the add reply button a bunch of times and then it finally posts.  Your card was worth the aggravation though, it's lovely.
