Good Monday Morning everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. I'm happy to be hostessing the Monday challenge here!
I've been quite sick the last couple weeks, so I decided I'd try to make this week's challenge something that's easy for me, but I must admit that when I started making my card it wasn't so easy following my own challenge, I kept wanting to go my own way.
But anyway, something I've noticed about a lot of my cards is that I lean towards the number three. I often use three colors, three layers, I put three brads in a row, you get the picture. So my challenge to you this week is this: incorporate the number three into your card three different times. You can do the things I already mentioned, or think of ideas all your own. Just three of something - three times. If your cards are the clean and simple type, you could even make three of the same card as one of the three's. Just have fun with this!
The other thing I ask is this: I don't know about the rest of you, but I've had enough of winter! I'd like to see the gallery fill up with spring cards this week. You could make Easter or Mother's Day cards, or whatever, just make them look like spring is coming!
Here's the card I did for this challenge:
I used Melanie's Spring Basket for this card (sorry about the orange-looking ribbon, everything matches really well in real life!) My three's are three layers (I don't include image panel) of kraft, passionate pink, and creme de menthe, I used three stamps, and three colors.
So now it's your turn! Have fun! Your key word for this project is: STV12MON7
Please create and upload a new project for this challenge. You may not link a previous card/project. There is no combining of Stamp TV challenges allowed to be eligible to win a prize. However, you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV. And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice.

Permalink Reply by Gayle Chrvala on March 10, 2012 at 9:27pm Hi Julie, Thanks for hosting our MIUM challenge. Your card sample is lovely. I have to remember the 3's formula and of course I will admit that I thought I used 3 stamps but actually used 4. I wasn't counting the Labeled With Love stamp as a stamp but as the die only.....oops.
Hope you are feeling better.
