Happy Monday!! I'm so happy to be hosting another Monday Challenge!
One of my favorite techniques to use on cards is color blocking! There are several ways to achieve the color blocking look: using cardstock, watercolors, repetitive stamping, & even stencils! In fact, Gina made a video about stenciled color blocking! You can see it HERE!
My challenge to you is to create a project featuring this fun technique!
For my sample, I chose to use cardstock color blocking. The stamps I used are from Theresa's lovely By the Sea 2 set!
Be sure to have your project uploaded to the Gallery by 8:00 PM CST on Sunday, March 9th. Be sure to use the tag STV14MON10 so we can find your project! In addition to posting your project in the Gallery, you may also post it here in the challenge thread if you want!
A random winner will be chosen from all eligible entries to win a Gina K prize!

What a fun card!
Ooooo absolutely beautiful Laurie!!!
Oh that's a great card and a fun challenge. I think I might have time to play this week. BTW - I think you meant we have until Mar. 16.
I love your card Laurie...great colors. I think it would be great for a boy or man card.
That's a stunner of a card Laurie! I hope I can play along with you all ♥
Well, I made one card at least for this challenge using the color blocking technique and I used card stock. I hope to do more types of color blocking this week too, as that is one of my favorite ways to bring life to a CAS card. HERE is my first one.
For my next card using a color block technique I CASed Melanie Muenchinger's card design which you can find in her Fabulous Stamped Frames book. Love that book. HERE is my rendition!
ANOTHER clean and simple card from me. I love doing this and who knows I might try another before the day is out. But this shows that you can make a cool and good looking work of art in a hurry if a need arrives.
Great card -- interesting challenge!
Here is my LAST design for this challenge. I sure had fun with it and thanks Laurie for a great one.
You GO Verna! You are definitely rockin' this challenge! Beautiful work! And Laurie, love your sample - the cardstock color blocks are awesome!
