Thanks, Lori for asking me to host this weeks Mix It Up Monday Challenge!
We are in the process of planning a wedding out on the Jersey Shore, so my challenge to you is a color challenge. Make a new card using the colors of the shore. Think Turquoise Sea, Ocean Mist, Soft Sand, etc. Here is a photo for some inspiration:
Here is my card using Melanie’s set – Gifts from the Sea
Some of the shells were masked and some were cut out and layered. The background strip is the Cuttlebug Mesh ef with direct to paper Vivid Teal ink. The meshy type ribbon was white and I used some Distress stain to make it look more like a fisherman's net. Cardstock used: Gina K Pure Luxury White, Turquoise Sea, Ocean Mist and Kraft.
Please create and upload a new project for this challenge. You may not link a previous card/project. There is no combining of Stamp TV challenges allowed to be eligible to win a prize. However, you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV. And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice!
The deadline for your challenge is Sunday August 26th at 8:00 pm CT. One week following your challenge one of the Mods will pick a winner and post in the Big News section on Stamp TV
Have fun with these colors and I can’t wait to see what you create!
