The image is from the newly released set "Sweet Strawberries" and the sentiment is from "Dogwood and Butterfly". I used 120 lb. Pure Luxury White by GKD for the base of my card.

I love the border, so pretty and dainty! ;)
Well, I decided to see if my eye is good enough for me to stamp a card again. It is not very complicated to make but the look is still so elegant with the square decorative diecut..the same one that Geri used. She inspired me to give it a try. I will be needing lots of gift cards and this is a perfect size for something like that. I may have to make an envelope to fit it as well. But here is what my Gift Card looks like.
Hi, I have had a few inquiries on the folded base of my card. Gina has a tutorial on doing this using a oval base, Here.
I followed her directions just used a square die "Fleur de Lis Squares" by Spellbinder's and a Quickie Glue pen to glue it together. Works real good on lacy edges where you don't want the glue to show. I got the glue pen from GKD.
Thanks for explaining it. I however did mine different but used the same diecut. Nothing on mine was glued together to make the fold. I simply lined my diecut along the very edge of the folded cardstock so that it did not cut through the fold quite. It seemed to work quite well too. I guess I jumped the gun too soon to try your method. But maybe another time. I will certainly keep this in mind for more square cards.
Beautiful card, Geri :) I am inspired to play! Thanks for hosting.
