Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

First of all.................

From Millan.Net

Now..........are y'all ready for a new challenge???

So with the arrival of Fall we notice it's getting darker earlier!!!  Hoooray!!!!  My favorite times of year....Fall and Winter are just about here!!!  Hey....no throwing rotten tomatoes at me for wishing for snow!  LOL

So....this week's challenge is to use some darker colors.....no...you definitely do NOT have to use only super dark colors....just not pastels!!

So...my card isn't all dark...it's just not pastels and pinks!!  Yes....I can go without pink...although it just MIGHT leave me scarred for life! LOL  ;)  I used Melanie's gorgeous Arranged With Love stamp set and colored with my Copics....then used some of my favorite GKD Black Onyx Gingham Ribbon....I love gingham!!!

For this card:

Arranged With Love

Color Companions Black Onyx Gingham Ribbon

Please make sure you put the keyword STV13MON35 in ALLCAPS on your entry!!!

I like this stamp image...A.LOT....will try this challenge this week...dark purple works for me!

Here's my entry for this week's challenge. I just received the new cardstock for Fall, the new craft colored ink pad and the Serenity Diva stamp set. I decided to make a card using those items.

Great challenge, Lee.  I do love the fall weather but you can keep the snow and cold of winter in your section of the country.

This summer has been crazy in Pennsylvania...hot, humid and rain, rain, rain!!  I'm hopeful that this is not an indicator what our winter may be like.  Anyway here's my card.  I had more than a few duds and decided that coloring wasn't in my game plan for today and thank goodness for those tiny punches that can cover up the oops!!  Your card is gorgeous even without any pink!

What a beautiful card, Lee. I love this stamp set by Melanie! Great challenge ;)

Woohoo!  I think I can do it!  Even with the limited supplies out of my suit case away from home!  And I have all the time in the world to do it. Thanks soooo much for this great challenge, Lee!    Love your card, too; the darker colors are beautiful!

Very fun, Lee!  It's a perfect challenge to use the STV kit!! :)

Your card is gorgeous, Lee! I start my new job tomorrow, so we'll see if I have time to play. Usually the first week of school I'm so wiped out all I can do is come home and lay on the couch with my laptop. I took last year off, so I'm really out of shape for hanging out with JH kids all day. I know I'll be exhausted!!

Here's another card that I made using the GK Wild Flowers stamps and the new fall card stock and ink pads. The saying is from the GK By the Sea stamp set.  After making the Serenity Diva card, I decided to make a card using some fall flowers to really hit on this week's challenge theme - STV13MON35

I went with Dark Chocolate, which is about as dark as you can get without being Black Onyx: Cracked Glass Pumpkins

I made a wedding card this afternoon and added it to the gallery. Forgot to copy the title, so you will just have to look in the gallery. Sort of out of whack these days and mostly sitting with my leg up so might not remember everything. Go to doctor tomorrow and maybe I can do more then. Along with that, taking care of garden stuff and a whole weekend of company I am just relaxing for now and keeping my leg elevated more. I am hoping I will be better by the wedding later this month cuz I want to go and attend my great nephew's special day..

Lorraine, That card is sooooo cute.  Love the wording, cause it is the TRUTH!!!!.  bonnie
