Ready for a sketch?? With all the CAS challenges lately I'm really enjoying them a lot more! So how about a CAS sketch....and yet there's still plenty of room for layers and bling and color!!! LOL I've got two versions of this card made into sketches thanks to my awesome fellow Moderators, Cat and Theresa! This is a great example of CAS vs CAS.....you know CAS can be very simple or it can be a bit more layered.....as long as there is some "space" or room on the card! *wink*
Added to help some of our new members: CAS stands for Clean And Simple. It doesn't have an exact definition....it's not about having no layers or bling....but it's about being a bit simpler and having some open space (not necessarily white). CAS is open to interpretation as are many stampin' styles.....so basically don't go too over the top with layers and embellies! LOL
Here's my sample using Gina's adorable new set, Garden Fresh!! And a bit more layered up with some bling....and yet a lot of open space...so it's a CAS card with a twist!
Please create and upload a new project for this challenge that can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize, no combining of Stamp TV challenges. However, you can combine it with challenges outside of StampTV. And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do, your name will go into the drawing twice!
You have until Sunday, July 17 at 8 pm Central to upload your entry. Please use the keyword STVMONLM3 for your tag for this challenge. You can see the gallery for this challenge here:
Hello everyone...I am new to the challenge and think I may have already messed something up! I created my card and added it to an album on my page with the keyword above but it does not show in the gallery...and when I click on it in my album to make sure I tagged it right I get linked to a card that is not mine! Is there anyway I can fix this in time to participate in the challenge? Thanks so much for any help!
I got it done :)
Hi Lee. I loved this sketch and i couldn't stop creating, LOL! Here are my 5 cards:
Hope you like them! :)
Here is the card I've come up with:
Lovely sketch, Lee, loved it and will use it over and over again.
