I am so happy to be hosting the Mix it up Monday challenge. So I was thinking that armed forces day is May 19th and Memorial Day is May 28th, Why not host a challenge to pay tribute and just say a big "Thank You" to the men and women who serve our country and sacrifice so much for our freedom.
For my card I chose to use a simple purple heart, which symbolizes the military's purple heart metal. The stamp I used came from the GKD "Happy Hearts stamp set" and the Sentiment came from the GKD "Springtime Silhouettes stamp set"... I used glitter pens on this card as well.
So my challenge for you is to create a "Pretty Thank You card" to show our gratitude to our soldiers. You must use bright cheery colors and the rest is up to you! Have fun with it...
Your keyword will be: STV12MON16
The deadline for the challenge is Sunday May 13th at 8:00 pm CT.
One week following the challenge one of the Mods will pick a winner and post in the Big News section on Stamp TV.
Please create and upload a new project for this challenge. You may not link a previous card/project. There is no combining of Stamp TV challenges allowed to eligible to win a prize. However you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV. And remember you don't have to use Gina K Design stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice!
Also I will be posting on my page, the address where you can send your cards to our Service men and women; if you'd like to do so.

Here is my card for this challenge entitled Patriotic Thank You.
Very pretty card Jody and great challenge!
Using leftover scraps of papers I created another thanks card for the troops. I titled it Scraps Thanks.
Thanks Verna! ;)
Wow guys! I am impressed with all the awesome cards you've created...Thank you!
What a wonderful challenge Jody! Love your creation too, fun colors on it!
And even if the country you are from isn't celebrating Armed Forces day or Memorial Day, every single country has a military branch that they could say 'thank you' to!
Gorgeous card, great challenge!
