Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are in the mood for an easy ABC (anything but a card) Christmas project.

Today, I am gearing you all up for those gift cards!  Mailperson, UPS driver. co-worker, family member -- I am sure you will have a gift card for someone this year!  So, I am challenging you to make a Gift Card Holder.  You can click PART 1 and PART 2 for a tutorial that Gina made awhile back.  While Gina's is elaborate, mine is more basic.  Either way, the recipient will love receiving it from you.

My gc holder is for my teen age son, therefore, I used the awesome Live Life Loud stamp set.  [Totally perfect for a teenager.]  I also used the fabulous FREE downloadable paper from Stamp TV.  I just adore stripes and dots together, and again it is perfect for that masculine project.

I hope you have fun making your gift card holder!  Be sure to put code STVMONVD4 in your tags so you are eligible for the random winning of a grab bag of stamps at least 12!! To see all the entries, click HERE.  You have until Sunday, December 4th, 8pm to upload your entry.

Looking forward to seeing your creations~ I'll be commenting!

EDITED: My size is 5.5 x 7 score at 1.5 and 5.75

The Rules:

[Please create and upload a new project for this challenge that can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize, no combining of Stamp TV challenges.  However, you can combine it with challenges outside of StampTV.  And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do, your name will go into the drawing twice!]

Looks great Vicki...can you give us the measurements for your one please? Thanks  xx

I love this challenge!! It gives me an idea for a friend whose gift I haven't decided on yet, until now!

Here is a gift card holder that I made for a friends birthday, I hope it's ok that it's also my entree for this challenge.

Now ABC before reading very far usually means "already been chewed". What a relief, lol......

You completely read my mind. These were on my "to-do" list this week!

Fun challenge, Vicki! HERE is mine.

Hi Vicki,
Super challenge and very appropriate as most of my Christmas gifts these days are gift cards or money.  That's what happens when your children become adults :).  Anyway I love the little gnome and these days I'm never sure where he's going to turn up on StampTV's galleries.  I used and decorated an envelope to make my gift card holder....found the idea on YouTube.

After posting the picture I saw a small smudge on the inside flap which will be covered up with a snowflake and I also wanted to add a small pom pom to "gnomie's" hat. It's on my to do list right after I finish my Christmas cards.

Love the challenge and was glad I was able to play along.  HERE"S MY GIFT CARD HOLDER  TFL!

Here is the altered can I made for this challenge.  I didn't realize the can is different from other ones I've made that had pull-tabs.  I had to tuck the string underneath the Nesties on the top of the can...which also should have been the bottom!  Wasn't too alert while making this obviously!
