Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

It's Monday......and I've got QUITE the challenge for you!!!!!!   So....think about just how long you've been a Gina K. fanatic!!  LOL   It might be 6 days and you are brand new or it might be 6 years and you have a huuuuuge collection!!!  ;)   Well....no matter how long....what I want you to do is this:

Try to use one of the earliest stamp sets you bought from Gina K Designs!!!  It doesn't have to be the very first unless you truly have a waaaay better memory than I do!!!  LOL  But just think of some of the first sets you fell in love with and got you started on your Gina K addiction!!  And then use them to make your card or project!!!

From Millan.Net

One of my very first Gina K sets I bought was Melanie's Just So Hoppy......it's a retired set now but I fell in love with this adorable froggy!!!!

I had fun stamping him onto the cross stitch bookmark and making this fun little gift!!!  This bookmark was actually made years ago....so I've learned a lot since then on how to photograph my projects!!  LOL

Now here's another of my very first Gina K stamp sets....Warm And Cozy Christmas...

I also made this a few years ago....but my love of pink and bling was already firmly set! LOL  I still ADORE this stamp set!!!

I am showing cards made with some of my early Gina K sets and that I made at the time....but remember you will need to make a NEW card/project for this challenge!!

I can't WAIT to see what you all create.....and give me just a bit of the story behind your stamp set choice if you can remember!  ;)

EGADS!!! Now you are gonna make me have to think. What a fun challenge...can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Well, I know I placed my first Gina K order in 2009, but exactly which sets were in that first order I'm not sure.  But it will be a lot of fun to get those sets out again!

Oh Boy! This one has me thinking. I have so many.  Time to do some thinking.

What a terrific idea, and how fun!! I have to figure out which came first, the chicken or the egg. Was it the first STV kit, or other stamps?

FUN Challenge!  If you really want it to be authentic all you have to do is got to GKD, log in and under "your account" you will find your "order history".   My first sets were: Botanicals, Vintage Borders, Autumn Beauty.   Do yourself a favor and do not look at your complete history, it also gives you a dollar amount!  Eek!

Wow Donna!! I'm not brave enough to do that!!! LOL

Hi Donna - I still remember your sharing this hint with me, and yes, I read all the sets I had bought and had some trouble breathing LOL!!!!

Good advice (if one takes it)

:*

Donna, bet me to it.  I joined last year.  My first order was in February.  I bought Dogwood and Butterfly, A Year of Flowers, Pressed Flowers, and the free one was Fresh Start.  Great Challenge!  I have Warm and Cozy Christmas. I had to get it with the cute little boy and girl.

Now that's a challenge I can do without much thinking.   My very first order was the Sunkissed Autumn StampTV kit, which I used to pieces and still love; and that adorable little owl is still going places!  AND... that means my 1 year Gina Anniversary must be coming up soon!

When I click on my order history, it's blank.  lol  Good thing I remember my first purchase.

Oh wow, thanks for the tip. This is a perfect way to remember how it all started. Mine was Enjoy the Sunshine, and then Springtime Silhouettes. Loved them both and still use them a lot. And as far as the dollar amount is concerned, I chose NOT to give that any consideration. Some things are priceless...:-)

Gabi I remember when you came on board. Your comment was that you only had the one set, and I was so impressed with how you made such good and creative use of it. Just goes to show that it doesn't take much when you are truly talented my dear.
