Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

In  one of  your  tutorials,   your  Misti  magnets  were  "wrapped"  in  something  that  looks  like  tape.  What  is  it?   Does  it  make  them  easier to  get  separated?   I  need  to  do  something -   and  does  it  create  a  problem  with  the  strength  of  the  magnets?   Thanks.

Washi tape.  I saw this idea on a video, so placed washi tape over mine immediately.  They will still snap together at times, but are much easier to separate.  No it doesn't create a problem with the magnetic strength.

I use Washi Tape Tabs.....they work great!

Has anyone else seen people using magnet in the shape of a long block? I've seen it on You Tube, I believe Jennifer McGuire uses them too? Wonder how they work, if they hold the paper down better. I've never used the tape, but so many people use it now. I wonder if Gina's going to get the templates they have for centering the stamps. They are made of acetate.

Judy,

Here is a link for the template:  http://mysweetpetunia.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/GRID_DOWNLOAD.pdf

I think it can be printed on the Heat Resistant Acetate that Gina sells.  Some people take this download to Staples or another office store and have them print it for a small fee.

Amazon sells that bar magnet.  https://www.amazon.com/CMS-Magnetics-Strong-Neodymium-Magnet/dp/B01...

Many people are loving that magnet as they say it is more secure.  They also like the Perfect Corners, which Gina carries.  I hear good things about the mouse pads also.

Judy,

I just got the corners and also the Misti Mouse Pad that Gina has in the store. The mouse pad fits perfect and cleans up super easy. Just wipe with a damp papertowel or baby wipe. Love the square corners also!

The corners are fantastic.  I have the long bar magnet and it is much easier to work with than the two circular ones.  It only takes one to hold my paper. I bought a grid from one of the big box stores, there were two or three grided sheets and two plain ones.  I just cut them down to fit.

I just had two of my round ones jump together and one got smashed. Luckily I had extras but since I was going to order from Amazon anyway these are the ones I ordered. I too wanted to get the bar type. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MG5HHD4/ref=od_aui_detailpages...

yep, those are excellent Verna!
