Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

It's the first day of the month and you know what that means?!? It's time for my Gina K Monthly 3-D item challenge! You will have until March 31st at 11:59 p.m. CST to upload your 3-D creation in order to be eligible to win a Gina K Designs stamp set valued at $24.95 or less.

This month's project was inspired by a co-worker who has more work related stuff in her desk area rather than personal stuff (and I am the opposite - after all, you have to make a space your own to make it more enjoyable!) so I made her this cute flower pot with Bold Flowers & mini card to put at her desk. I also wanted to encourage her, since her workload has increased lately and she's been stressing out a bit.

My challenge to you is to make something to give to someone to cheer them up. It could be a small treat for them to munch on while at work, a picture in a frame of you {for your DH} to put on his desk, just anything that you think would make someone's day and perhaps remind them of you when they look at it. It's o.k. to add a card like I did, but the focus should be on the 3-D item. Also please tell us why you chose to make what you did & who you are gave it to/plan to give it to and why. One of the things I love to do is surprise others - she really liked it & didn't expect it at all and it's one less thing to clutter my space with!

When you upload your 3-D item, please use tag 3DMAR09

Great challenge will have to think on this one. Your Flowers are cute.
This is adorable! What a sweet co-worker you are. I will have to think about this one. Thanks for the challenge.
So cute, Donna! I always love your 3-D projects. That flower pot is fantastic!
I will need to get thinking on this one! I am up for the challenge. Thanks for your hard work.
SO cute Donna - I'm sure your coworker was tickled pink (and green :-) I have never made a 3D project so I'll have to ponder this for a while. Thanks for a challenge!
Ohhh awesome challenge Donna! I love your little flower pot, that is just too stinking cute!!
Donna, what a cute project...this will definitely put a smile on someone's face every time they look at it. I was planning on making a little something for someone who is a fellow stamper. I am going over to her house on Sunday to teach a class and I want to surprise her for being a good demo and friend - she gives more than she receives.

Since there is time for this challenge, I might make something else for hubby or for someone else who is special in muy life. In the meantime, I did make a birthday frame for my DH's grandfather who just turned 90 yrs old. So that will be my first upload for this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

I just posted my very first GinaK challenge! I started with the monthly one and see how it goes from here. But, it was so much fun.
Here are my three d challenge cards. Both use stamped/embossed acetate butterflies. Enjoy!
