Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

ABOUT THE CHAT & CHALLENGE:  The Moderators here at Stamp TV have decided to add a couple of fun challenges a month......we'll be taking turns hosting a Saturday Live Chat & Challenge!!!!

The chat feature will be turned on here at Stamp TV and will be on the home page.  This is where the host/hostess will reveal what that particular challenge is for that day.  The challenges can be ANYTHING!  The common fact in all of these challenges is that the host/hostess will be available on and off throughout the day to chat with anyone who wants to and, of course, to answer any and all kinds of crafty/stampy questions.  Hopefully we'll see some of the Design Team members stop in if they get a chance as well.

The challenge itself will only be held thru the weekend and until that Monday evening.  This is a couple of weekends a month for some extra fun and interaction with the Design Team!  The host/hostess will choose a winner for their challenge based on following the challenge guidelines and using Gina K. stamps.  As always anyone can play along with any stamps, but winners will be chosen from among those using Gina K. stamps.  The prize will be a fabulous grab bag of Gina K. products!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:  If you would like to play along in the challenge, simply, upload a new card/project to the gallery, but also it would be a good idea to post in the individual challenge thread!  The actual details of the challenge will be updated in the original post once it's announced on the chat!  So you will be able to play along even if you missed the actual announcement! That part is just for fun and anticipation!

So the challenge for this weekend is this:  Use any of the colors Pink, Green and/or Yellow....the colors of October......AND use a sentiment that has special meaning for you or for someone you will be sending the card to!!!

Here are my two cards......

I used Gina's Elegant Flowers:

And Melanie's A Beautiful Life:

Both of these cards will be going to a cancer center......I love both of these sentiments as the one conveys such hope and the other is a special friendship message!!!

Come play along and I'll pop in and out of the chat throughout the day!

Beautiful cards Lee. Maybe I can join in later. So much to do this time of year it seems. I will see how my day goes.

I got my card done. It will be an anniversary card, but that sentiment will be inside the card. HERE it is.

Love this challenge, Lee! I have two, I'll load the second one tomorrow. Here's the first: Marker Flowers.

BTW, Are you sure you used Bold Flowers on that top card? I think you used Elegant Flowers, from the same STV kit.

Bwahahaha!  You're right...that's what happens when you post in a hurry!  Thanks for letting me know...I'll update that!

Yikes, sometimes less is more but I couldn't control myself.  Every time the Eagles fell behind during the football game I seemed to add one for item to the card.  The extras are the owl which of course is needed for the sentiment, then I didn't have any pink so added a tree for the inside of the card with pink & green leaves.  Anyway quite a challenge for me but your cards really worked Lee.  Here's my card:  This one's for my granddaughter and I may pop off the own and put it inside....undecided at this point probably will depend on the final score.....

Heehee Gayle!  I LOVE it!

Yay Jean!  Fabulous card!

Not quite sure if I did this right as this is my first challenge, but here is the card that I made for a friend of mine.  I used the lily stamp from By Your Side and some of the digital paper from the freebie site.  I played around with some Copic Makers for some pink lilies.

Your card is gorgeous. Put it in your gallery and then in the tag section add STV13CHAT6 so it will show in the gallery. I love those gorgeous flowers the way you colored them.

Hi Susan!  Your card is just beautiful!  Verna is right....you'll need to upload it to the gallery and use that keyword so we can see it here on Stamp TV and include it in the challenge!  I'm so glad you enjoyed playing along!!

How do I load a picture to the gallery and tag it with the appropriate lines?

Verna and Lee,

Thanks so much for the feedback on my card.  I have only been stamping for a couple of months now.  I have spend more time at it this summer though (I was downsized from my job back in June and have had a lot of extra time on my hands).  Although I am an avid scrapbooker, I have quickly developed an addiction for making cards (thanks to my sister).
