YEAH--swap central sounds so official, and so awesome. The first swap of Gina K designs hosted here on StampTV just ended and everyone is got their cards back this past week. I have posted all of the cards in an album in my galler--please stop and see the awesome cards that were sent in.

I will be posting another swap--Round Two-- later this year with a due date of February/March. Check back for more details in a month or so. The fist one was great and I know the next one can be even better!!! Please send me a message if you have any questions at all about being a part of a swap--they are fun and addicting!

Gina--Thanks so much for setting this up this special button on the side.

Hope to see more of the StampTV cardmakers in the next swap--Barb
The swap was so fun and all the cards were fabulous. I look forward to more swaps.
k, I'm very new to this. What is a swap and how does it work?

Thanks
Hi Martha--I just hosted a swap here on StampTV and the details are in the other thread in this forum. Check that out and if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Basically--you make 6 cards all the same and send to the hostess--you then get back 5 different cards. The 6th card stays with the hostess.

If you add me as a friend, you then can send me a message. Hope this helps and you decide to take the plunge to join swaps--they are a blasst!

Thanks for asking--Barb

How do i join a swap?
Hi La Tanya--I have one swap going right now, with the cards due on February 12th. I am not sure if that is too soon for you. or not, but you sure are welcome to join us. It is in this same forum, with the heading Due in 2 Weeks--Gina K Swap-Round 2.

If you think this does not give you enough time, wait until Round 3. I will probably post another one in March, with a due date in June or July. Hope to see you then. If you want to add me as a "friend", I will send a message to all of you when I post the next round.

Thanks for asking--Barb

Would there be any interest in an ATC swap. Would make 3 get 2 be alright? Everyone would include a SASE to have their ATC's returned in. THEME any spring idea, mailed to me by march 15th. I would be interested in hosting this.

What is a SASE?
This is a self addressed self stamped envelope. That way the Host can send them out without too much expense.
When you do the card swaps do the hosts pay for the postage? Let me know Thanks Naomi

In swaps that I have joined and those that I have hosted, each participant pays for the postage to send in the swaps as well as putting stamps on the envelope for the return of the swaps too. Some swaps have come to me with some postage due and I have paid that. There have been a couple of times where someone has not included any return postage and I have asked them to send that to me the next swap they join. I have also had times where the return postage that was included was not enough and I have had to add additional stamps. I guess that is part of being a host.

I hope that helps--Barb
Thanks Barb
That is the way most swaps I have been in have gone too.

I am new to this. Swap? It sounds fun. How do you do it or when is the next one? I look forward to your responses.
