Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Helpful Hints to Abbreviations, Chatspeak, Tagging, etc.

We've had a few discussions and questions on this and I think a "sticky" post of it's own for quicker reference will help out many of our members! So please feel free to add to this discussion. As I add your suggestions I will delete the comments so this stays easy to read and doesn't become a long chatter thread. LOL Thanks!!!

What is the difference between pattern paper (pp) and the designer paper (dp)? I know Gina has her pattern paper packs listed under pattern paper in the store.

I THINK that PP is just the stuff you can buy in bulk at Michaels, JoAnns, etc...dots, chevrons, textured, etc (bulk in diff colors,.  DSP, I believe is specific to manufacturers collections and/or themes..  GKD, Graphic 45, etc.

Thanks. I wasn't born with that knowledge either. Lol.
Thanks Lee, LOL... Laugh out loud and BFF Best friends forever, we're the only ones I know.

Hi Mirabella.....Rupa is one of the Illustrators.  We just use "gina" for hers though now.  I will update this when I can.

I don't know about you girls but my head is spinning!!  I know the basics but Anna's right there are thousands out there now and many of them are for teens knowledge only, as they use them to get away with all kinds of crap.  I try and stick to the very basic ones it makes life much easier.  Thanks for the connection though Anna.

Thanks Lee for the info on Tagging.  I just never was quite sure how to do that, so, now thanks to you, I do!!  tfs, :)
