Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi All,

I am looking for some new options for my stamp collection and came across gina K. Do Gina K stamps work well with Stampin' Up inks? Or does the ink bead like it does on many clear stamps. I would really like to expand my stamp collection and Stampin' Up does not have all the options I'm looking for, but do not want to have to purchase all new inks.

Thank You

Linda

Gina k stamps are red rubber, just unmounted, so you use them on an acrylic block.  most of the inks I use are SU, and I've never had a problem.
I've had no trouble when I used to have SU inks.  Like Peggy pointed out...Gina K. Stamps are red rubber and not clear, so they don't bead up.  Let us know if we can answer any other questions and so glad to have you here!  Welcome!!
No problems for me!!!  :D
No problems at all.  I use SU, Memento, Vivid and Distress and never had an issue with any.
Perfect! I was hoping they were red rubber, I just wasn't sure! Thank you all, I think I may have found myself some new stamps here!

Linda,

I just wanted to share a tip that I learned from Gina K. a very long time ago.  Her stamps are red rubber and I love that best, but Gina said that if you get a clear set of stamps, rub it with a white art eraser before you try and ink it.  It takes off the mold release that makes the ink bead up.  You will love Gina K. Stamps!

I've heard that but never tried yet...I'm definatly going to next time I run into problems. I don't use my clear stamps very much since I've always had this problem, so I'm more trained to immediatly reach for my red rubber stamps, but if the eraser works, then hopefully I can use the lovely clear sets I have more often.

Thank you very much for reminding me about that solution!
