Receiving ~ Gina K Card Swap with Flowers ~ Due March 20th

Flowers Gina K Swap--Due March 20th

This swap is Round 8 on StampTV! The first 7 swaps here that I hosted were so much fun and there were some OUTSTANDING cards sent in!! So--here we go---Round 8, is now up!

The swap is for full cards with any Gina K Design stamped image with flowers on it. This round is for occasion that you chose--Easter, Mother's Day, Get Well, Birthday, Sympathy, etc. as long as it has a flower on it.  You can add a sentiment or leave it blank--your choice.  The flower image can be any set that Gina K sells--one of her own or any of her awesome designers. If Gina sells it, it counts here!

Description: Full Size Card - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. You do not need to supply envelopes. Please use at least 2 layers and 1 embellishment! Sign up for as many spots as you'd like, but please, make a different design for each spot you take. If your card does not fit into an A-2 envie, please include an envie along with your cards.

Quantity: 5+1. You will be sending me six cards and getting five back. You will not get one of your own back, so make an extra one for yourself. The plus one is for me as the hostess.

Vendor Products: Any stamp from Gina K--use any set that she sells--but PLEASE use very good quality cardstock (GKD, SU or PTI only). No vendor restriction on embellishments - use as many embellishments as you like. Designer papers are also encouraged, but not required. Be Proud of Your Creation!

Due Date: Tuesday, March 20th.   I will mail them as soon as I receive all swaps! If I receive the swaps early, I will send them out early. If your cards are received after the due date, I may have to return them to you. Please post on the thread when your cards are shipped. Also, please post on the thread or send me a message if there are any issues or if you need to drop out. Sometimes life interferes with stamping and it is OK to drop out of the swap--no problem!!!! Please communicate with me as to your status.

Notification: I have a request of anyone who signs up for this swap---please add me as your "friend" here on StampTV. The only way that I can contact people is to post here on the thread or to send someone a personal message. However I can only send messages to those that are my friends, so please add me if I am not already one so that I can communicate with you on an individual basis. THANKS!

Mailing instructions: Place swap cards in a large Ziploc for waterproof purposes. Write your real name and StampTV name (if different) on a piece of paper or on the bag for identification purposes.

Swap Return: Please include self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail to hostess. Please include 2 additional stamps to insure enough postage to return swaps. Additional postage will be returned if not used. PLEASE SEND ONLY POSTAGE STAMPS, NO DATED STAMPS OR METERED MAIL. My Post Office will not take them.  Remember, there is a postage increas on 1/22 in case you sent in your swap early......  If you would rather use Priority mail, please include one $5.15 priority stamp or cash and a self-addressed priority label. I will provide priority envelope, so you do not need to send one. If you are mailing from Canada please include $6 US (or more for additional spots) to cover return postage, and I will return whatever is left to you. Please post when you receive your cards in return too

Please post or send a message to me via StampTV with any questions.

Greetings all...I vote for the two sets ... one masculine (I always struggle with this one---challenge, opportunity Yay!) and I like the idea of three colors or shades of the same color for the second set!

Wedding is good--maybe add anniversary to it.  How about three groups for the next round?

1--Masculine Cards--any occasion like congrats, get well, birthday

2--Red, Whitee and Blue Cards--could be 4th of July, or any other occasion using all three of these colors

3--Wedding or Anniversary Cards--any color combo

You could sign up for one category, or two or all three.  I can toss out the "enabler" get a prize for signing up for one spot in each.  What do you think?

Kathy's cards did not come this weekend--they should be here today or tomorrow.  When they arrive, I will finishing taking pictures of all of the cards and post them in this thread.  Then, swapping cards and getting them postal back to you.

Instead of Red/White/Blue - How about we use the colors from our respective country's flags? That way we can share a bit from our culture. Or am I the only non-American playing? I'm also running out of Dollars so will have to see how I can get more for the postage.

I like that idea--good one Riette.  Hope you find a bank to get US dollars as we all love you cards!

What a great idea Riette! I am non-American; in Canada myself. That would be fun. As for the other set, I'm easy with whichever the others decide.

Enabler or not I just love participating I would do all three

smiling about Pam's reply......................................

Kathy's cards are here.  I will take pictures in the next day or so and swap out the cards.  I hope to get them postal on Wednesday.

Oooooh I'm so excited!! I'm really, really going to get a scrapbook to put them in with my Winter/Christmas stash I've been saving in a zip-baggie :D

Swapping today--hope to get to Post Office too.

These are Riette's cards.
