Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Thank you for joining me last week for the "Shakin' Things Up"challenge! You were so creative with what you put in the shaker...I loved seeing what each of you came up with!

This week I am going easy on you. *smile*

I am challenging you to create a project that has paper piecing on it. This is a fun technique and one of my favorites.

Gina has a tutorial video on paper piecing, which you can find here.

This is my sample:

For my card I used Basic Grey's Origin papers along with Gina's Green Apple, Chocolate Brown, Tan Leather and White pl papers.
The sunflowers are from Gina K's A Year of Flowers and the butterfly is from her Picture It stamp set. Both the flowers and the butterfly were paper pieced. I used copics Y02 and E31 to add some shading to them.
The sentiment is from Lovely Labels.
I adding stitching around the pattern paper and kept the embellishments simple with just a ribbon bow.

I would love it if you would play along with me this week!

If you do, please be sure to create a new project for the this challenge versus linking up something you have created before. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we would love it if you did! Remember if you do use Gina K Designs on your project, your name will be entered in the prize drawing TWICE!!!
You have until next Thursday, May 27th, at 8pm CST, to upload your project. One winner will be drawn at ramdom to win a Gina K stamp set of their choice, valued at $24.95 or less!
Be sure to upload your project to the Stamp TV gallery using the tag STVBPSLS12 so you are entered in the prize drawing.

Beautiful card & great challenge!
Gorgeous, Sharri!!! Going to try and play this week!!!
Sharri, this is a gorgeous card. Love your piecing, but also your dp,LO and use of images. Beautiful job and fun challenge.
Your card is lovely, Sharri. Great mix of dp!
Here is the card for this challenge. This is my favorite technique!

Here is another card I made applying the paper piecing technique. I apply this technique to 90% of my cards.

luv paper piecing, even it's a bit of time consuming but the result is always stunning! ...First time i saw this technique, many years ago, i read "paper PIERCING!! LOL!! i'm glad paper piecing is less complicated than paper "piercing"!! LOL!
Fun challenge Sharri! Here is my card.
gorgeous card!!!! love the challenge (-: so hope I get to play
Sharr, I'd love to know how you made the bow. It's obviously not just a plain "shoelace" type bow. I like how it has the double layer part on the bow, and the knot is so smooth!
I made the bow using the Bow Easy. Very easy to use and the bows turn out great! Here is the link to the one in Gina's store.

What an amazing card! I LOVE the paper piecing! I never would have thought to paper piece the flowers and the butterfly. Thanks for the inspiration. :-)
