Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

A Hearty Good Morning From Olde Cape Cod!

Just as our previous hosts I am thrilled to be hosting this

Friday Free For All Challenge......HOW CHARMING!

Today I am challenging you to add a CHARM to your cards.  You may make any style card you wish, Birthday, Father's Day, Sympathy, Baby, etc. as long as you add a charmThe charm may be metal, plastic, or even "home made".

My first card is a Wedding card for my Nephew.  I used the Lacy Borders Stamp Set, stamping and embossing in silver the border 3 times and then layering over PL white card stock that has been dry embossed.  I cut out 2 different sized hearts using my Cricut, stamped the sentiment and then added a whole lot of Bling!  Including a metal heart charm, perfect for a wedding card!

On my second card I used the One In A Million stamp set.  GKD patterned paper, Parisian Garden layered over PL Wild Lilac card stock.  The flowers are colored with Copics and Bic Mark It Markers, rhinestones were added to the centers.  I then "made" my own charm, by using a Martha Stewart butterfly punch, layered 6 pieces of card stock and then topped with GKD patterned paper, to make it more "charm-ing" I added Glossy Accents, I then threaded pink crafting wire through the holes, and centered over a punched fower.

Have FUN, I can not wait to see what you all create!

Donna, your cards are stunning!!  What a fabulous challenge.

Donna, Your two cards are beautiful love the charms on both. Looks like a great challenge!!

Donna, I turn my back for a little while (so to speak) and here you are hosting a challenge!  Your 2 cards are wonderful but how did you know I need to make a wedding card?  LOL  I'd better get busy!

Very pretty!  I love your butterfly charm!

Great challenge, Donna, thanks for hosting.  I loved your cards and actually CASE'd your heart card with a few tweaks for my daughter for Mother's Day.  For some reason my mother's day card for my mom was a little bulky so I made an A2 box from a tutorial found on splitcoaststampers.  I'm not sure if she liked the card or box better. LOL.  The charm I used was a heart and I believe it was actually a free gift with one of my Gina K Design orders many, many orders ago. Here's my project.

Thank you all for the lovely comments and for playing along in this challenge!  I had a wicked good time!   :P

Hope you did as well!
