Happy Friday Everyone! I am so honored Lori asked me to hostess this week's Free for All Friday Challenge!
My challenge for you is to make a card using your FAVORITE Gina K. Designs set AND your FAVORITE color combination. Now I can hear "...but I love ALLLLLL of Gina K.'s sets!!!...", of course you do, how could you not? We all feel this way! But imagine there were some bizarre circumstances where you could only use ONE Gina K. set for a prolonged period of time - which one would it be? And yes, you have to choose and can only use ONE. For those of you who do not have any GKD sets yet but would still like to play along, please use your favorite set from your entire collection. Feel free to share why the set and color combination you choose are your favorites.
For me, Gina's 'Warm & Cozy Christmas' holds such a special place in my heart. I just love coloring these beautifully illustrated children all bundled up for the snow, and my favorite color combination is light blue & chocolate brown - these are my alma mater colors and for years folks teased me and said they were not pretty together so when they became in style I SO wanted to contact everyone who snubbed their nose and ask them if they cared to change their mind (I didn't of course, life is too short). So, here is my card with 'Warm & Cozy Christmas' in light blue & chocolate brown:
(Since this is my favorite set and color combination you may have seen other cards in my gallery that are similar, but I assure you, this one is new for this challenge).
Now, it's your turn!! I can't wait to see what you create!!
Please remember to create and upload a new project for this challenge. As always, you are not allowed to combine this challenge with other challenges here on Stamp TV and be eligible to win a prize. However, you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV. And remember, you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice!
You have until Thursday, February 9th at 8 pm CST to upload your entry.
Use the keyword STV12FRI2 for your tag for this challenge.

Permalink Reply by Susan Sieracki on February 3, 2012 at 4:43pm Your card is awesome. Those papers are wonderful and your coloring is fantastic. When brown and blue hit the scene, I can't say I was a big fan at the time. I am now, but it took a while to convert me. If I had seen this card back then, I would have been an instant convert. Thank you for the wonderful challenge.

I used purple hues for my card as well. I hope you like it. http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/bling-flower-card?context=user
