Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hello my StampTV friends!! It's Friday and time for another fun challenge. I have a very easy one, well maybe a challenge one for other like me, LOL. If you have seen my cards you know I love layers, well this time I challenge myself to create a OLC "One Layer Card" with a little twist, don't you worry, nothing really difficult, your cards have to be "One layer Christmas Cards".

I created 2 cards using images from the new StampTv kit "Wishing you Joy", they are really cute and super easy to mail too!!

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black on Layer Weight White CS, colored them with Copic Marker. I drew a line and added a bit of blue Copic Markers and Star Dust Stickles. For the snowflakes I used a Glue Pad (like a ink pad, but instead of ink is glue) then add Glitter,it dries very quick and your glitter stays in place.

Please use keyword STVFRIGS3 You can see all the entries HERE You have until November 3th (my birthday!!), 8:00pm to upload your entry.

**Please create and upload a new project for this challenge that can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize, no combining of Stamp TV challenges.  However, you can combine it with challenges outside of StampTV.  And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do, your name will go into the drawing twice!

Have fun!  look forward to seeing your great creations!!!

Great Challenge!  October was a self-imposed CAS month for me so this challenge kept me honest (I have strayed)

Here's my entry  Fall Is Nature's Gold

Thanks Giovana!  I'm going to check into that.  I LOVE the effect and how easy it is to achieve.  :)

No Nancy, You used it like a regular ink pad, after gluing your image, you just add the glitter on top and let it dry for few minutes and voila!!

What cute cards!  I have a question about the glue pad... do you  have to heat the glue?  Thanks for such a great challenge!
I love making one layer cards.  HERE is mine.
Just a quick question about what is considered layering. Does paper piecing count as layering or just an embellie??
Good question as I was wondering the same thing.
I was not around much on the weekend and didn't even check the challenge until late today. I was so surprised to see that the example Giovana created was so similar in concept to the images I had laid out to create a simple one layer card since I am getting behind in my card making for holiday giving. So here is mine: http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/simple-christmas-2?context=user  I might make another one too, since these are very quick and easy but still cool. Got some new stickers on the weekend for the cards at a Walmart in the town where we were visiting for the afternoon Sunday.
Yes, you can do paper piecing :)

here is my favorite one - with crystal stickles on the snowflakes!

Beautiful card Giovana and great challenge :)

This is beautiful. I love the swipe of color behind the snowflakes. Great idea.
Here's another one layer card for Christmas that I made after I finished freezing carrots. I needed a rest. LOL I hope you like it. http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/holly-christmas-3?context=user
