Free For All Friday "OLCC" One Layer Christmas Card

Hello my StampTV friends!! It's Friday and time for another fun challenge. I have a very easy one, well maybe a challenge one for other like me, LOL. If you have seen my cards you know I love layers, well this time I challenge myself to create a OLC "One Layer Card" with a little twist, don't you worry, nothing really difficult, your cards have to be "One layer Christmas Cards".

 

I created 2 cards using images from the new StampTv kit "Wishing you Joy", they are really cute and super easy to mail too!!

 

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black on Layer Weight White CS, colored them with Copic Marker. I drew a line and added a bit of blue Copic Markers and Star Dust Stickles. For the snowflakes I used a Glue Pad (like a ink pad, but instead of ink is glue) then add Glitter,it dries very quick and your glitter stays in place.

I love OLC's and I cannot wait to get going on this one...I have been having way too much fun since I found this site making cards that my house has literally gone to the dogs.  It looks like it snowed in my living room since the dogs decided I was ignoring them and tore up the stuffies :)

I have never done a challenge but I may have to try this one.  When we adopted 2 of our 3 rescue Westies(we have 4 now) we came home to a few snowstorms(in Texas?) ala toilet paper.

What cute cards!  I have a question about the glue pad... do you  have to heat the glue?  Thanks for such a great challenge!

tried something new for me with this, so here it is

No Nancy, You used it like a regular ink pad, after gluing your image, you just add the glitter on top and let it dry for few minutes and voila!!
