Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Stampers!  Richard Breaks here, and I am really excited to be your host for this week's Free For All Friday Challenge!

This week, we're going MAN STYLE!  Create and post a masculine themed card for a MAN, and not so much for a little boy.  I am hoping to really challenge you and make you sharpen your skills in this area.

I hear all the time about how many people have fears about masculine cards.  It's really not so difficult!  Think leaves instead of flowers, sharp lines instead of soft curves, and strong geometric shapes.  Go for colors; rich, wonderful colors, but maybe not so much pink.  I know you can do this!!

Here are my samples for this challenge--

These were done with Theresa Mombers' set, Follow Your Dreams.  Love that set!

Please create and upload a new project for this challenge. You may not link a previous card/project.  There is no combining of Stamp TV challenges allowed to be eligible to win a prize.  However, you can combine it with challenges outside of Stamp TV.  And remember you don't have to use Gina K. Designs stamps, but if you do your name will go into the drawing twice!

Be sure to tag your uploaded picture with the keyword--STV12FRI20

The deadline for your challenge is Thursday July 19th  at 8:00 pm CT.  One week following your challenge one of the Mods will pick a winner and post in the Big News section on Stamp TV.

Have fun!  I can't wait to see all your awesome work!!

All Best--

Great cards Richard!  I must put on my thinking cap for this.

Congrats on hosting!  I don't think I am afraid of "man" cards, BUT they certainly are a challenge!  This will e a good one!

What awesome samples Richard!  Love the rich colors!  And wonderful challenge...yep, I struggle with manly cards too, lol!  Thanks for hosting for us this week!

Wonderful cards Richard. I love your great colors. And thanks for a perfect challenge for me. I have to make a birthday card for my son who turns 39 this month. Couldn't be more timely!!!

Super cards, Richard and a great challenge!

Great cards!

Awesome challenge. I am always looking for masculine cards to make because I have so many in my family and now all the "boys" have grown, so no more babyish cards for them Thanks for this challenge...I can't wait to play along.

OK.. Does it HAVE to be card.. Or could I do a.. Bookmark?

Great cards, thanks for the tip on using STRONG colors.  I think my masculine cards have been more subdued (boring) with subtle colors, like gray, browns, etc.  Never thought to use an Eggplant colored purple, or deep violet.  I've been away from the boards for a while.  COOL for you to be on GIna's Design Team.  Way to go.  I remember when you won your first stamp set.  :D

Ooh, this is great!! I am in !! Your cards are awesome!!

I'm working on getting better at manly cards.  My husband likes me to make all his cards so I'm getting more practice.

Here's mine for the challenge:

I'll Love You...Forever

Hi Richard, Thanks for hosting a very interesting FFAF challenge.  I love the pops of color that you used; however, I kept mine monochromatic.  My DH is into trucks and trucking and wishes he had a 64 GTO so I took the next thing he likes to do and that's to be at the shore or at least listening to Beach Boys music.   I split Melanie's saying and the last line will be inside the card.

Thanks again for hosting and here's my card.
