Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hey y'all!!  Thanks for stopping in  to check out our challenge for today!  It's called What's In Your Name?'  For this challenge, you will need to take the first letter of your name, and use something on your card that starts with that same letter!  For example, my name is Cathy.  I had to take the letter 'C'.  Here is my sample....I did a Collage for my letter!

I took several different designer papers and this particular papers, had these little cut outs with it.  So cut them out and did a collage with them...then gave it a rustic look with the metal starts and distress inks.

Ok, its your turn!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here are the rules, and if you have any questions, just ask!

Be sure and have your creation uploaded to the gallery, using the tag STV12FRI37 no later than Thursday, December 20th, 8PM CST.  Hope you can find time to play with us!   Can' wait to see what y'all come up with!  :D

Here is the link to the gallery for this challenge!

How about jewels for J? jingle bells? jute?

Cat you are so talented!! Love your card.

This is adorable!  How fun!  Thanks.

Okay, I did a card with the letter "V" incorporated. It is my Violet Valentine.  That color is as close to violet as I have so hope it will be acceptable...but it is a Valentine, so that is a "shoe in" there. LOL

I meant that in a kind way, Verna!

Do you have any vinyl, Verna?

Well, that is a challenge and I am sure some names are harder to work with then others. Yikes! A "V" is hard for me. That may take some creative thinking just to figure out what to do. As busy as I am, I might have to do a quickie on this one one of these days. Not today though, I think. I love your collage though. It is amazing.

It was took kindly too. LOL And, nope...no vinyl do I have.

Great card, and great idea, Cat.  Oh how I wish I had the time!  G is so up my alley:  gold, glitter pen, etc..  But have a couple college kids (not mine, LOL!) coming in and have to get rooms/food ready.  I love it when young people populate our home.  Have fun everyone!

I actually did have vellum out and thought about it and then changed to the Valentine. All my stamps are put away now. So guess that won't be used now at least. Great suggestion too.
