Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Happy Friday everyone!!!!  Sorry my post is late today, it's been a busy week with "festivities" going on at school every day to celebrate Homecoming tonight and... today is my dad's birthday so I've been thinking and TRYING to remember everything I needed to get done.  Sadly, I am a bit behind this morning!  But I hope you all join in on the Free For all Friday Challenge over on Stamp TV!

Today I wanted to challenge you to make a card that is not your average A2 rectangled design.  That's right... we're going ROUND today!!

Here is the card I've created.... (sorry for the pic quality... my camera was NOT being nice to me that day!)

My card started with Pure Luxury Layering Weight White card stock.  I stamped my image from Theresa Momber's, "Celebrate the Season" set.  (Love this snowman!)  I used my Copic markers to color his hat in and used paper piecing on his scarf.  I added some Diamond  Stickles on him and around him to mimic snow.  For my sentiment I used my Fancy Tags 2, Nestabilities.  I stamped the sentiment then added some red Stickles to the ends for a bit more bling.

Here's a couple more just to give you more ideas, that I did a while back...

Now it's your turn!! Simply create and upload a new project for this challenge and it can only be entered into this one challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize. You can use it for challenges outside of StampTV. If you use Gina K. Designs stamps, your name will go into the drawing twice.

You have until Thursday, October 6 at 8 pm Central to upload your entry.  Use the keyword STVFRITG3 for your tag for this challenge.  Have fun creating your round card!!!

That is so pretty and lacey. This would be a beautiful way to make a snowflake card too.

I've never seen SOOO many beautiful cards in such a short space of time! You ladies ROCK! I MUST confess that my *phobia* of making a round card has now vanished after trying my hand at it. For that, I have to thank, Tina, for coming up with such a GREAT challenge. It is good to know that I can STILL think out of the .... ummm .... circle? hehe

And here's my take on this AWESOME challenge : http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/round-where-hope-grows-stvfritg3?xg_s...

You gals are rockin this challenge!!! Thanks for playing and I'm glad you are enjoying it!  I had a "circle card phobia" too until I tried it and now I love it but I have to be careful not to overdo it! LOL  Keep on making it "a round". LOL

Loved this challenge!

Tina, I had so much fun that I had to order some dies in circle forms that will fit my Big Kick. I can't order the Spellbinder big ones because they don't fit but I did find some at Cheery Lynn Designs which will work. I am thrilled because I wasted lots of paper using my circle cutter. This will be much better and thanks for lifting the stigma of doing round cards for me. I am enjoying it so much.
Well, I was able to put my oval onto a circle, well, except for the fold at the top.  Take a look at my funny Christmas Elf here.
Here is my card, thanks so much for looking!!
I was practicing my coloring and the images just happened to work well with a round:-) Here is the first one. HERE is the second one. They are Christmas cards.

Wonderful Challenge!  One of those little bugs that fly around fruit apparantly hitched a ride in our bag.  He decided to land on my card while I was shooting.  Oh, well, maybe he thought it was a real flower!  :D)  Well here's my card  ACircle of Hearts

Whew!! It's been a crazy last couple of weeks but I think I'll get my card in under the wire.  Great challenge, Tina.  Love your cards and also shaped cards.  HERE'S MY CARD.  Enjoy and Thanks for looking.

Yay, my very first round card!  Thank you Tina for the challenge.  Here is my card called Happy Halloween!
