Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hey ya'll!!  Here I am again, and this time it's that time again, time for another CASE the DT Challenge!  YAY!!

This is how this works...I will give you one of the DT's names, along with a link to their gallery here on StampTV and you can choose ANY card of theirs to CASE.  Just tell us which card, either by giving us the title of the card you CASEd or the link to the actual card of the DT member we are doing that week.  There are a few simple rules to this and they are:

1.  You need to change 2 or more things on the card.  Colors, image used, add more bling, take away bling, etc....

2.  You will need to provide the title of the card or a link to the card that you CASEd.

3.   Have fun!!  :D

Up this week in line is the oh so talented Donna Baker!  Here is the link to Donna's gallery:

Donna's Gallery

As always in doing this challenge, I have a hard time deciding which card to CASE, lol!  Donna has sooo many gorgeous creations!!  I love her style..from her Clean and Simple to oh so elegant, love them all!   Here is my card:

and Donna's card I CASEd:

How could I not resist CASEing one made with my beloved kraft cardstock?  LOL!   As you can see, I added some extra layers and of course differnt stamp set..this is the new StampTV kit Wishing You Joy that just became available for purchase last night!

And remember, you do NOT have to show the actual card of Donna's you CASEd, just the title or a link to it in the description area of the photo you upload!  Just remember,  you must CASE Donna!!   Not Gina or any other DT!

Now it's your turn!  Go and browse Donna's gallery and CASE one of her awesome creations!   Here is all the small print!

Please create and upload a new project for this challenge and it can only be entered into this challenge here on StampTV to be eligible for a prize. However, you can use it for challenges outside of StampTV. If you use Gina K. Designs stamps, your name will go into the drawing twice.

Be sure and have your project uploaded to our gallery here on StampTV using the tag STVFRICT10 by 8:00PM CST, October 27th, Thursday night.

I CASed Donna's Birthday Trees but made mine into Christmas trees. I also transposed the sketch and added different bling and background papers. Here is mine:

Here is my card for this challenge.  I cased Donna's Soft and Simple Thank You (March 1, 2009).

So if I got this right...I go to Donna's gallery and look at her cards.  I pick as inspiration and change 2 things.  Right so far?
Yes Kim! That is correct! Look fwd to seeing what you make! I will chk out the gallery tonigh to see what has been uploaded since yesterday!
OK I am ready to go...Can I  make more than one???  I found at least 4 I would like to do :)

Here is my entry for the card Donna named Hip Candles on your cake.  I needed to make invitations for my granddaughter's 7th birthday and this one was perfect!  I changed the colors to match her favorite of course.  I also left off the bow and put in "Birthday Party".  I also changed the pictures.  This was a great sketch from Donna and I plan on using one very similar to make some Christmas cards next.  Thanks Donna for the great inspiration.

I loved this challenge so much and the card I CASed from Donna that I not only made another, but an entire set of six complete with a box!!!  Too bad I ran out of uploads for today, I wanted to show you all of them.  Well guess I can show you the rest tomorrow :)

Here are 3 of the ones I made today:

Here's my card:  CASE-ing Donna!

Hi Cat!

HERE is my card based on THIS CARD by Donna.

Hope you both like it!  :)

I enjoyed seeing EVERYONE'S CASES of my card! It was so flattering to get so many wonderful comments on my gallery and of course, all the comments saying you liked my cards so much you didn't want to change much and kept the changes minimal, what a compliment!

great job everyone and congrats to Olga for winning the challenge!!
