Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Can anyone suggest a source for empty stamp pads.  A friend who has given up stamping for another hobby gave me a number of ink refill bottles, most of them nearly full, but I need empty stamp pads in order to make use of the ink.  I already checked and Gina doesn't carry them.  Thanks!

I use my re-inkers in mini-mister spray bottles diluted with water for spraying backgrounds, or use a few drops on a hard piece of plastic as a stamp pad. I had found in the past blank stamp pads rather expensive and often more than ones with ink in them.

Maybe do a search on google...'empty ink pads'   and see if anything comes up?

And love your idea too Lorna!

Thank you both for your responses.  I'll try both of them.

Hi Lynn, perhaps you can try the Ranger cut n dry foam/felt as stamp pads.  Here's the link to see what they look like:

I've seen Tim Holtz used them before in one of his videos.  You are a lucky girl, there's so much you can do with the reinkers ;-)

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Kim!  That's a great resource.  Any ideas about ways to use the re-inkers will be much appreciated too.
If you do a search on your computer for uninked stamp pads you will find lots of sources...ranger makes a large size pad, avery makes small ones from Amazon....look under uninked and you should find some. If you don't, put me as a friend and I'll send you the sites I found. OK?
Thank you SO much, Barbara.  Using "uninked" was the key to finding what I need.  I appreciate your help!

don't forget the shaving cream technique using the re-inkers :)

You can get uninked SPOTS (I prefer the size and portability of spots myself) from this retailer:

at least I did a few years ago, with fast shipping too!  :)

Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll check it out.

I'm concerned about your friend...giving up stamping?????  I didn't know that was even possible.  GASP!!  Is there an outreach program somewhere, a 1-800 number, 12 step program? (not sure that's enough steps for me though).  Would love to know what she's replaced it with though.

Hugs,

Lisa xx
