Hey, there! I have to give it to ya ladies, Y'ALL ROCKED my challenging color challenge this past week! I wasn't sure what kind of a reception I would get but y'all really knocked my socks off with what you came up with! You are all so very talented and so very inspiring! :)
This week I'm going back to our comfort zone and giving you one of my FAVORITE color combos that I think (hope!) everyone will love! ;) I challenge you to use Brown, Red, Green and Ivory on a card. I just love this color combo and since I'm a romantic at heart, I went with a fancy, romantic card this time around. :)
That beautiful damask image came from none other than the awesome Nina Brackett, from her "Grand Damask" stamp set. I inked it up with SU Cherry Cobbler. The leaves came from "Signs of Autumn" stamp set and I stamped it in SU Always Artichoke. I made the paper rose and sprayed it with "Brick" Glimmer Mist. :)
Please upload your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag STVCOLORJANICE3. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.
In order to be included in the random drawing for a free GKD stamp set, please create a new card (or project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for multiple challenges is not permitted. Also, please read the challenge specifications carefully as only those that follow the challenge closely will be put into the drawing for the prize. Thanks!
You have until next Sunday, September 26, 2010, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!
Can't wait to see all your fun creations this week! Good luck!
