Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi, everyone!  What an AWESOME number of participants we had in last week's color challenge!  I had so much fun checking out everyone's beautiful creations using the Fall color combo I gave!  And kudos to those who gave it a go even though they live in places where it is now their Spring not Fall!  :)

This week I'm giving you a REAL challenge!  Hee hee! ;)  I challenge you to use these colors in creating a card: Brown, Pink, Teal and Orange.  Like last weeks, I will allow a neutral color like Ivory, if needed.  :)  Don't worry, at first I thought, "no way," but it IS possible!  You CAN DO IT!

Here is my sample to get you inspired and get your mojo going:

I used Asela Hopkins "Pretty as a Peacock" stamp set because I just thought that beauty of a peacock would look awesome in pink and teal!  ;)  The DP I used is Basic Grey's "Blush" paper line, I also used GKD Pure Luxury Card Stock in Chocolate BrownInnocent Pink and Ivory.  I colored the peacock with Prismacolor pencils.

Please upload your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag STVCOLORJANICE2. You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did!  In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.

In order to be included in the random drawing for a free GKD stamp set, please create a new card (or project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for multiple challenges is not permitted.  Also, please read the challenge specifications carefully as only those that follow the challenge closely will be put into the drawing for the prize. Thanks!

You have until next Sunday, September 19, 2010, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!

Can't wait to see all your fun creations this week!  Good luck!

I had a hard time finding a dp that had these colors. This one did, but it also had some olive in it too. I tried to cover the olive as much as I could. Here's my card:
Your creation is just gorgeous Janice! Im like Jennie, that orange scares me a tad, LOL! And thats one reason why its called a 'challenge' right? Gonna see what I can do....
It will take a bit of imagination but I think I can do it. Your sample is lovely.
OOhhh! lovely card but I don't know if up for orange and pink..!! These challenges certainly are challenging! Lol!
This was hard for me to work w/ all of these colors together. I know I had done many things w/ pink, teal, & brown, but adding orange to it was a bit more challenging. I love your card!

Here is my submission:
You can do it! The cards I've seen so far are so beautiful and I just know yours will turn out awesome too! Hope you play! :)

I've been thinking for two days and can't come up with a design. It's not the orange that's stumping me it's the pink. There's still time so I'll keep thinking. Great challenge!
Wow! I'm on a roll this week!! Yup, three cards in two days tha'ts good for me!!! LOL
Fun challenge, here is mine.
This really took some thought on those colors! Your card is beautiful, such perfect colors for that peacock. This didn't quite turn out the way I envisioned it, but here it is:
Great (yet very challenging) colors, Janice! Your sample card is gorgeous! Love that peacock! Here is my card for the challenge:
