Color Challenge - STVCOLORJANICE1 - September 6, 2010

Hi everyone!  Happy Labor Day!  I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying cooler weather wherever you are!  Here in Texas we got into the low 70's a few mornings and it was just divine!  ;)   I am THRILLED to be the hostess for the Color Challenge for the month of September!  Woo hoo! Today is my first challenge and I hope you'll be inspired to play along!  Before we get to the challenge though, I just wanted to give a shout out to Carla for giving such great and inspiring color challenges these last three months.  Carla, you rocked it girl!

Alright, here is my first color challenge for you.  The cooler temperatures have got me thinking about FALL!  Here in Texas, I know those cooler temps were probably just a big tease but I know we'll see those temps again soon!  So, in honor of the Fall that is to come and might be right at your doorstep, depending on where you live,  I challenge you (sounds so serious! ;0)) to use these colors: Yellow, Brown, Kraft and Red (you can also use a neutral color like Ivory like I did, if you need to).

Here is my sample card:

Those awesome fall leaves, that fall corner flourish and the cute sentiment all came from Theresa Momber's  "Autumn Beauty" stamp set.  I just stamped the leaves right onto some Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury card stock in Sweet Corn and then spritzed them with some "Terra Cotta" Walnut Ink by Tsukeniko, to give them that fun weathered and blotched look.

I also used Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury card stock in Chocolate Brown, Kraft, Rocket Red and Layering Weight Ivory on my card.

You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate, although we'd love it if you did!  In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your entry, your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking up something you've created before.

In order to be included in the random drawing for a free GKD stamp set, please create a new card (or project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for multiple challenges is not permitted.
