Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good morning!!

I just received my "Sentimental Bouquet" bundle that I ordered on Black Friday.  I am getting ready to use it and the pre-scored cards are not folding with a nice clean fold.  They are jagged and fraying when I fold them.  Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I have folded many cards before and this has never happened.

Do you think the paper is damaged or am i doing something incorrect?

Thanks so much!!  I love GinaK products!!

You may need to score them a little deeper and make sure you are folding away from the score line.

Here is a video about scoring and folding our heavy card stock:

I have trouble all the time, but am getting better with folding the card stock. I tried something one time just to see if I could get the cracked area to lay down and not show, so what I did and it worked.............was I took a clear drying glue and put a dab on my finger and went over the fold with it, and it stuck the fiber back in place. When it dried there was no broken fibers and the glue you couldn't see. But by  no means would I do this all the  time, but it does work. I wasn't using a score board either, and now I do and it's much better.

I used to have problems until I bought the bullet and purchased a Teflon bone folder.  I haven't had an issue since.

Ritta could you tell me what a bullet is? never heard of that before. And where you get it.

I think her comment got autocorrected.

I think she meant “bit the bullet.”  The product is the teflon bone folder which is available at various stamping stores online.
