Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

For some reason I can no longer leave comments on Blogger blogs. I first discovered this during the CSS blog hop on one blog, and thought maybe it was a temporary problem. Now I've discovered I can't comment on any Blogger blogs from my computer. I did a clean up and defrag and the only thing that accomplished was that I have to re-log in to all my sites. No biggie there, but I still can't leave comments. All I get is a blank screen where the comments normally appear. I can leave comments if I use my office laptop, but not from my personal laptop. Is it a blogger problem? A google problem? or just a Judy problem because I'm not very computer literate when it comes to these things. It's very frustrating because I love to leave comments to tell my favorite bloggers how much I appreciate their work. Thanks for your help.

Judy, I'm not sure what the problem is, but do you have a Google account?  I just stay logged into my Google account, and that way I don't have to log in everytime I comment.

Yes,  do have a google account and every once in a while I have to log into that again, but I do seem to be logged in because I can comment on blogs that are powered by FeedBlitz or other blog programs. Given the fact that I can comment from my other computer, I think the some how I've done something funky on my home computer.

This is the message I get at the top of the screen where I would normally comment

http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=1478072143545768780&pos.... It's slightly different for each blog.

Judy, you might try switching to a different browser to see if that helps, particularly if you use Internet Explorer. I've heard some browsers can cause problems with leaving comment in blogger.

Hi Theresa,

I finally got the time and the nerve to try switching to another browser. My fear was that I would lose my special AT&T home page where I have all my blogs and websites bookmarked. I switched to Chrome and so far it seems to have solved the problem.  I think I've even figured out how to set my AT&T Home page. Thanks so very much for your help.

Judy, I have the same problem. If I am using my IPad this happens. In addition, I also have to sign in to STV. This was not the case, until about 6 months ago. I wrote in to a forum for help and was told it maybe my cookies, but changing that did not work. I cannot comment on any blog, it just disappears. If I am on Face Book, on my IPad, then I am able to leave a comment. This is very annoying, as well as suddenly having to sign in to STV a million times, when that was not the case before. If you are able to find a solution, please let me know. Right now, I just use my desk top, or phone.

Hi Barbara,

I still haven't found a solution. I've deleted cookies, I've done everything I can think of and I'm still having the problem. A Blogger blog blogger stated she was having problems with Blogger and comments. I don't have an IPad or a phone that I can use so that's not a solution for me. I have Chrome set up as my default browser, but I don't find it as user friendly as Internet Explorer. I've found that some Blogger blogs will let me comment through IE, but if I'm on a blog hop, I just use Chrome. Fortunately the laptop I use at work allows me to comment through IE and I use that a lot - I have that kind of job. So far I haven't had an issue with having to log in to STV every time (knock wood). That would bug me even more than not being able to comment. If I find an answer I'll be sure to post it here.
