Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

It’s time for a new Blast From the Past Challenge.  I have heard from so many of you telling me how much you are enjoying going back and watching Gina’s technique videos.  It is so fun to go through the gallery and see all your entries.

Crayon resist is a technique I never really think about doing but it is so fun to do.  It is a technique that many people will ask “How did you do that”.  This week I challenge you to watch Gina’s  video  “Crayon Resist” then upload your card using this technique.  You can either sponge or brayer the colors over your crayon resist.

I was blown away yesterday when Geri sent me her card for this post.  I couldn’t believe how similar her card was to my sample.  We don’t discuss our cards in advance, really, but we both used the same stamp plus we both used the same Nestability.  I am posting them both even though they are so similar.

Now it’s your turn!  Please watch Gina’s video  “Crayon Resist” then create a card using the technique Gina shows.  Next, upload a new card to the StampTV gallery using the keyword stvbpss07  by 8:00 p.m. central time Thursday, Jan 28th.  Friday a winner will be drawn at random and may choose any Gina K stamp set valued up to $24.95.  Your card can only be entered into this challenge on STV to be eligible to win, but you can use it for challenges outside of STV.

You do not need to use Gina K stamps to participate.  A little perk though, if you do use Gina K stamps in your entry, your name will be added to the random drawing twice.

Here is the gallery link to all cards entered with the stvbpss07 tag.
